Experience Exceptional Care at Kirkham Optical

When you visit Kirkham Optical for your eye test, you can expect nothing less than the highest standard of care. We are committed to ensuring that your eye care needs are met with precision and professionalism. All of our optometrists are registered with the General Optical Council, and our clinical staff are highly trained, so you know you’re in expert hands.

During your eye test, our optometrists will thoroughly assess both your vision and the health of your eyes. In addition to checking your eyesight, we will also look for early signs of other health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or vascular disease, providing you with a comprehensive health check.

Your eye test will typically take around 40 minutes, during which time we will carefully evaluate your vision and discuss any concerns you may have. By attending regular eye exams—at least every two years, or more frequently if recommended—you can feel confident that your prescription is always up-to-date and that you’re wearing the most suitable lenses for your unique vision needs.

At Kirkham Optical, we go beyond standard eye exams with the option of an Enhanced OCT Scan. OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) is a cutting-edge, non-invasive imaging technology that provides a detailed, 3D view of the internal structures of your eyes. This advanced scan allows us to see beneath the surface, detecting early signs of serious conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy long before they affect your vision.

The Enhanced OCT Scan adds an extra layer of precision to your eye exam, giving us a more comprehensive understanding of your eye health. This scan is painless and quick, yet it provides crucial insights that standard eye tests cannot.

By choosing to include an OCT Scan, you’re taking a proactive step in safeguarding your long-term vision and ensuring any potential issues are caught early. Your optometrist will explain the results in detail and discuss any follow-up care, so you leave with full confidence in your eye health.

Book your Enhanced OCT Scan with your eye test today and experience the ultimate in eye care at Kirkham Optical.
